Well, okay - I won't say it's totally bad, or that all of them are bad, but certainly the few of them that I have seen (or owned) have not held up well compared to the MIJ version. The paint on the nails/spines tends to be sloppier, the paint on the eyes was always really flat, and the one that I've owned and a few I've seen on eBay have had crooked tail connections which have caused the figure to lean backwards.

If you've got one that's in good shape and looks great, that's awesome. I'm sure that there are some Korean-made '91's out there that are just fine, BUT I would recommend anyone who doesn't have the '91 Closed Mouth Godzilla figure try to find the Japanese version instead of the Korean version.

And yes, the '91 Godzilla Bandai is one awesome sculpt of on kickass Goji design. Definately my single favorite Bandai figure, be it with the tag, without the tag, or made into a statue by Kaijuzoo.

Tim

P.S. Kaijuzoo, I'm going to email you soon about meeting up at G-Fest to talk about getting this DX Mechagodzilla customized.

P.S.S. Well, I probably don't need to email you now that I've said that, but...you know what I mean.
