Posted: Sat Sep 13, 2003 3:37 amit looks like sony technically is re-releasing the films on dvd. while searching on for some cheaply priced g-films, i noticed that some online retailers such as and list sony's heisei godzilla discs (as well as g2k) with the re-release date of 10/07/03. unfortunately, it appears they will just be nothing but discount-priced repressings of the old discs, with no added extras or changes. i also noticed that a couple of the retailers list the g2k disc as also featuring the original japanese language version of the film on it, although they may be basing this off old info for the dvd's original release. does anybody know anything else about this?
