It's crazy to think that every live-action Ultra series from the '60s and '70s will be available on North American BRD by the end of this year along with a slew of the modern shows and movies.

^ The excitement hasn't worn off for me. Each annoucement gets me excited.

Ace is one of my most anticipated new-to-me classic shows and X is my favorite new generation show, so needless to say I'm very happy for April!

Update: sell sheet shows that the X movie features the Winckler dub.

Oh, well - I've wanted to watch the show for like 20 years, a couple of weeks doesn't matter much.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but all the currently available Ultra series are in a 3 for 2 deal on Amazon at the moment.

Can confirm Orb and Geed are included. I just picked them up along with Ultraseven.

DId Orb Origin's release date get moved back? I thought it was Feb 11th while Return was the 25th?

^The Dates must have just updated recently. According to Amazon, now they are both scheduled for release 2/25....

I don't mind a slight delay because I'm still only halfway through Ultraseven and haven't even started Orb and Geed!

^ Since the March releases are just the single disc versions of the tie in movies already released in the sets that at least gives you a month the cover the two while they are essentially still "new."

Mill Creek apparently announced the X movie will include the dub.

^ Yeah, I I think I mentioned that a while back. It was kind of buried in some listing somewhere.

Which reminds me; last week I listened to that podcast with Keith Aiken again, and I was again struck by how positive and optimistic he sounded about tracking down some of these dubbed versions they don't currently have access to (as well as the likelihood of Mill Creek licensing the few Ultra related things that weren't included with the current licensing deal).

It made me think of what English dubs they already do have access to and will almost certainly be included on these releases. Winckler dubbed the Ginga movie, X movie, and Zero trilogy. Ultraman Max Has a mysterious English dub that was shown on the Toku Channel. The Dyna and Gaia movies had dubs on their previous US DVD releases. And finally we have the English dub of the recent Ultra Fight series on YouTube.

Am I missing any? Excluding the classic dubs for Ultraman, Ultraseven, the Fox version of Tiga, the smattering of attemps at adapting the '79 anime, and the heavily accented Malaysian dubs

I noticed in store that Target was having their *Buy 2 get one free* deal again on DVD's, Blu rays, Games etc... Can anyone confirm if the Ultraman titles are part of this still? It was awesome getting Seven, Orb and Geed at the 2 for 3 price, and I'd love to do the same with Return, X and Ace.

In related "news", Keith Aiken basically confirmed yesterday that . Who's handling it, I don't know; but I would assume either Mill Creek or Funimation (the latter being the distributor for SSSS.GRIDMAN).

^ Man, both series would look nice together on my shelf!

Mill Creek did release on DVD Super Human Samurai Syber Squad. I'd love the Original Gridman to go along with it. Funimatios SSSSS Gridman set is also of interest, but way too pricey, especially for only 12 episodes.

Not just that, but it's a modern anime series from less than 2 years ago, those aren't cheap to license.
