In my experience, most DVD players that are capable of being both Region and NTSC/PAL hacked only require one hack to unlock everything. But the one big caveat to that is that not all Region hackable DVD players are capable of doing PAL to NTSC conversion...

is a great resource for finding out just what your player can do. But if your answer isn't there, the only option is really just to take a gamble & see if it will play PAL discs.

For what it's worth if your player winds up NOT being able to handle PAL discs, you can find one that does for about $40 pretty easily. My old cyberhome died about a year ago so I went to the video help forums and asked for advice. Was able to go to Best Buy and walk out with a $40 Panasonic dvd player that does everything the Cyberhome did with a MUCH better video processor (the difference in picture quality was quite noticable).
