If I recall correctly, the voice actor who dubbed Colonel Gondo in this movie would go on to dub Shindo in King Ghidorah and General Aso in the later Heisei films.

I once saw a version that lacked any onscreen text whatsoever. No Toho logo, no location names, no end credits. But even more interesting, they weren't simply cut out, it was simple a textless version; even the title screen had no title, even though, Godzilla could be seen in full motion.
