It puts an interesting perspective on the reports of disappointing image quality from Toho's kaiju Blu-Ray discs...







(that perspective being that Toho's transfers suck, and they'd look much better if someone else did the transfers)

I was never into this Blu-Ray thing, but with this and "Jason and the Argonauts" and a few others of note, perhaps I might eventually persuade myself to purchase it.
