I stumble across this rarity and read that it is banned in japan at some time..This film looks far out..

It was only a self-imposed ban, on the grounds of the film being in extremely politically incorrect and in very "bad taste".

Are there any films in Japan that are literally banned, and not self-imposed by the studio?
