Mothra vs Godzilla is now up, along with a bunch of Ghidrah stills to showcase the amazing quality upgrade.

Thanks for posting these!
You know, these will probably look better on the actual Blu-ray releases, being that these are from a satellite broadcast stream, interlaced & de-interlaced, with who knows what kind of filtering/re-compression used to fit it into less bandwith (like what US satellite companies do), and there's a lot of compression blocking obscuring real detail.

For some reason I can't get enough of that screen shot of Godzilla and Mothra from Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster. It's so funny how by this point in the movie they had stopped trying to make the monsters look as big as possible and were shooting them at eye level. This particular shot has flown past me dozens of times over the years and this is the first time I've ever given it a second thought. Despite it being the same suit Godzilla's pose and body language in this shot is so different from how it was just one film before and only a few months earlier.
I love these sorts of shots/scenes in Toho movies, where the eye level filming does nothing to hide the fact that this is a guy in a suit. Makes it really easy to analyze the monster suits. I also love the "Ghidora clumsily does a 180 to face Rodan and Mothra" shot for the same reason.
