Well, there's this general DVD release forum, and there's the anime forum, which no one looks at (it's pretty dead). So, I thought that it might be nice to put this in a forum which people actually read. Why don't you kill me for bringing some news to this site, because I didn't know that you were a mod. Sorry, I contributed something.

It would've been seen in one place or the other, either way. It just feels really redundant when you start up two exactly identical threads is all.

:kitty:

EDIT: Funny thing is, I keep forgetting I am a mod!

I'm not mad, revenge of gmk0taku (did you get a free bowl of soup with that handle?), just perplexed -- thanks for the concern.

Kiryu, I already explained myself, so I don't have to say anything further. Sorry that to have disturbed the balance of the universe! :P

John, we're both half-wrong; sometimes the theme songs are written by different composers than the BGM. I was referring to the BGM, but was wrong. The score was written by Mashisa Takeichi (who also did the score for DAI-APOLLON), and wrote tons of theme songs (TIME BOKAN, SKY RIDER). The theme songs for GO-LION were written by Asei Kobayashi (who mostly was a song writer, not BGM composer), and the songs were arranged by Takeichi.

I was thinking of ALVEGAS, which was supposed to be the "third" Voltron, featuring a score and songs by Watanabe.

I just watched Voltes V on that "vehoh" that Agust linked to,and it's an awesome show, but damn, that was some awful dubbing. I mean, you expect dubbed anime to be terrible, but that hit new lows! It was almost like it was intentionally bad, like a joke or something.
