Dude, I'm SO there. Nice cover.

I wish I had a Blu-Ray player (and HD TV), 'cause D-WAR would love VERY nice on there.

I DO find it interesting that the advertisment says it was "timed in release with the J.J Abrams Cloverfield Project." Also, it seems D-WAR grossed $65 million in World Wide Box office. Wowzers.

I wish there was an audio commentary.

It's selling pretty good at my store today. We've gone through about half the copies in store. The Wal-Mart I work at has it in 3 flavors.

The DVD by itself for about $18

The DVD with plastic prop of the amulet the girl wears (probably the only collectible for this film you'll see) for $20

The DVD with the cheap $5 version of GINO for $20.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm trying to rent it from NetFlix. They're currently rented out of it. For a bad, giant monster movie, it seems to be a hit on DVD.

The movie is pretty bad, but I had fun watching it. I laughed during some scenes, but that just made it all the more fun. I loved it when the kid near the beginning has the whole dragon story told to him, and he shouts out "What are you talking about!?!" LOL...my thoughts EXACTLY!

And that scene with the homeless guy...OMG...the biggest movie groaner of all time!

Every scene with the monsters were awesome though, and the finale with the actual "dragon" was very well done. It was great getting to see a nicely done CGI oriental style dragon...something new for us kaiju fans.
