David and the Haters! What's with all the negativity towards this flick? Look, CASSHAN it ain't but I stand behind it as one of the best Japanese sci-fi flicks ever made in the Post-Showa era. Loved it in '04 and looks like it's time to revisit this baby. I usually don't have any patience for the dark depressing stuff, but this one kills! HAIL!
