So we've got HORROR OF MALFORMED MEN - where's HALF HUMAN?

For those of you that aren't familiar with it, this is a notoriously unavailable-in-it's-native-country (not formally banned, but shelved due to being extremely politically incorrect) Japanese horror/art film based on the writings of Edogawa Rampo. Beautiful disc, terrific extras - highly recommended!
Anyway, I'm figuring if this verboten-in-Japan film can come out in R1 (it's still not available in R2, and probably won't be for the foreseeable future), can Jujin Yukiotako (aka, Abominable Snowman; aka, Half Human) be far behind? As far as I understand it, Malformed Men is higher up on the you-no-see list than Half Human in it's native Japan. I suppose Toei could be more lenient than Toho, but then when has Toho shied away from making a buck?
Yep, I expect an announcement to come from Media Blasters anyday, re: a R1 release of Half Human.
