Mr. Poopyhead, I believe you might be thinking of something else. Or maybe it's just me. Ifukube created four Symphonic Fantasias that I know of, all of them being made up of pieces drawn from his film repertoire, predominantly from his special effects scores, in response to requests to hear his film music performed live. The first of these is available along with his excellent "Sinfonia Tapkaara" and "Ritmica Ostinata" on . "Unofficial" sources were the only way I was able to obtain the others, at least at an affordable price.

The album "Ostinato" contains stereo rerecordings of a lot of his classic Toho special effects pieces which were used in the visual compilation "Godzilla Fantasia." This is not the same as "Symphonic Fantasia," though many of those pieces appear in various arrangements in the four Symphonic Fantasias.

Hope this helps, Mac.
