Sounds good to me. I want the Godzilla vs. Biollante music even if it is mono.

Cool, now I just need to wait for Ark Square to make it available for preorder!

I dont really like that green color on the box though, but I've never liked that color anyways.

I'll have to hear them to know for sure, but it seems to me that tracks on scores listed as "M1", "M2", M3T2" etc (like on Disc 2) are shorter cues as used in the actual score, and are usually presented unedited. Longer suites (like on Disc 1) can be standalone longer pieces from which some or all of the track may be used in the film, or may itself be the product of editing the standalone cues.

I'm not sure we're saying anything different. Your question seems to be were the suites standalone pieces that are presented as they were recorded, and we really won't know until we hear it. Iwase's notes didn't go into that much detail. But I can tell from the times associated with the track listings on Disc 1 that the first 10 tracks are virtually identical to the tracks previously released on Futureland TYCY-5361. It's what's on Disc 2, the cues, that are new.

I just noticed something I missed the first time around: the tracks on Disc 2 are listed as mono. Hmm.

I'm surprised that Toho has or hasn't decided on including it, but I heard that Reijirou Koroku did some alternative arrangements of his G84 score for a record in 1985 titled Attack, Space Fist! (Gekisatsu! Uchuuken; based on an adult manga the same year by Ryu Hurricane). According to Harold Blethen, who reviewed both it and the G84 soundtrack in Markalite # 1, they were much more satisfying than the film score.

Here's Koroku's Attack, Space Fist! record (I don't know if it's been issued on CD, though, so it's pretty rare):
