Since I have car payments, insurance payments, and school to worry about, I've been limiting myself to only buying movies that I really, really want, which would pretty much narrow my selection down to kaiju movies. Someday I'll complete my George Romero "dead" movies collection when I find a decent DVD of Night of the Living Dead, and everytime I pass by the movies Sideways and The Life Aquatic in stores I fight the urge to buy those; I really love those movies.

I may buy Negadon if I can't find anyplace that rents it first, and of course I am definitely buying the new Classic Media Godzilla DVDs. No doubt about that. Whenever I have more money to spend I may purchase the two Daimajin sequels recently released by ADV (though I was ansty about doing so since I read there was an aspect ratio problem with the discs) or one of the original Yokai Monsters movies. Plus, if Ultraman the Next were to come out on R1 DVD, I'd snatch it up in a hot second.

Other than the upcoming Classic Media Godzilla dvds, it's mostly anime titles I'm after. I hope to pick up the Cromartie high school and Excel Saga collections, the New Getter Robo box set, Macross vol. 4, Daitetsujin 17(R2), and Nadesico vol. 3. (essential anime version) That one seems to be fairly elusive - I spotted one on Amazon going for $150. $150! What th' fudge?! Haven't seen any on Ebay either.

Now that I've seen some of the stuff on Edda's list, I'll have to add the Combattler, Getter G and Trider G7 sets to my list as well. :) always wanted to see those.
