Kalat's commentary was great, I wish he would have done another one!

So, after all the many, many months of waiting, ever since CM first began putting these DVDs out, my patience has finally paid off - I finally got the Godzilla Collection box set for Festivus! :D

It was hard to resist just buying them all individually every time another great new release came out, but I knew it'd be worth it in the end if I could just hold out for a while longer, and now that I have my reward is being able to enjoy the most kaiju-packed Christmas since.....well, last year, when I imported a bunch of the Madman Region 4 DVDs as well. :P

I can't wait to finally watch Ghidrah and GRA, they're the only two Showa films I haven't seen at all yet. Definitely looking forward to watching them both at long last, and rewatching Invasion of the Astro Monsters. Man I haven't seen that in years. Time was Godzilla movies were a pretty common sight on UK television, but alas those days have been over for quite some time now. :( Oh well, good job I've now got nearly all of them on DVD then. :D

*Shakes his head at all those people who were moaning about having to wait a few months for Terror of MechaGodzilla and Godzilla's Revenge to be released seperately a few pages back*

Tsk, kids today. They just have no patience at all. :P

I just got the box-set a couple days ago in the mail. Sort of a Christmas present for myself! :D Sure, I had already bought the available films individually, but I have a friend who would be more than happy to have them, so I'm just going to give those to him for Christmas. I may be out on the money, and you guys may think it's cheap to give someone your old movies as a gift, but trust me, this guy has given me so much out of his own collection of toys, movies, books, etc. over the years. I feel it's time to start paying him back.

I've only watched Terror of Mechagodzilla so far, and being that it is one of my favorite Godzilla movies anyway, it was certainly a joy to see it in such great quality. I'm glad that these movies are finally receiving such fine treatment.

I'm hearing April 29th as the release date for Terror of MechaG and Revenge. Anybody else hear this?
