if i order those DVDs from USA by mail...my chance to get snagged by the custom and receiving a 15-20 % tax bill is 99 %....
20 $ us per dvd +shipping in Canada....
its ridiculous
there no godzilla DVDs for Christmas season...spring release...how lame
toy....
bandai never release is godzilla toy line in Canada...
its an amateur marketing program ...

I got my copies today, and I just HAD to let the internet know my opinions!
- The GRA glitch is there on my straight interlaced set-up.
- GRA looks much cleaner than "Gojira", but grainier and dupier... but considering that Toho doesn't even have the trailer for this one, I wouldn't be shocked if this is the best they have to offer for this film. I'm also glad it seems to have less DVNR applied, which was just noticeable enough on "Gojira" to bug me.
- "Gigantis" looks better than I expected for being the old Video Treasures/Disney Channel master.
- Cropping aside, "GvsThe Thing" looks about on the level of Universal's KKvsG disc; i.e. good for old dupe material.
- "Mothra Vs. Godzilla" might seem a little softer than Sony's discs of the 60's films at first, but that's more likely due to it having no "edge enhancement" at all it seems, unlike Sony's. Crank up the sharpness on your set for the same effect.
- Both GRA and MvsG seem brighter in the same manner as Media Blaster's ports of Toho's own discs, i.e. like they were calibrated for a darker black level.
