Good news and bad news.
The good news. This is the best that Gorgo has ever looked.
The bad news. The best Gorgo has ever looked is still not very good.
PQ varies wildly. Some scenes have a nice "pop" to them and color is much more vivid than I've ever seen it before. Detail is never very good, though, and grain is ever present, sometimes in rather extreme amounts. The use of stock footage in certain scenes is painfully obvious. Contrast and color levels are all over the map. Oddly, the non-process FX scenes seem to be the best looking footage in the film. That is a positive
There is a scratch running down the extreme right side of the picture for part of the running time.
Just jumping from chapter to chapter at this point so these are just initial impressions.
