Yeah I watched on the Science Channel recently where they talked about dvd's fading over time.

They said however that dvd's would be considered obsolete long before that happens.

Just watched the movie, excellent picture quality!!!

On a side note, the lead character of Commander Jack Rankin might just be one of the most astounding jack a$$'d D-bags to ever enter the screen. Everything about this Ronald Reagan light makes me want to go back in time, or foward, and choke the dude. It's odd, in my mind he's kind of the villain of the film that I love to hate, yet he's the one that saves the day and runs off with another dude's girl.

It's a very effective film and even though it's cheesy fun, it also looks at different styles of command...Jack's style kind of seems a little out-dated now a days though he does make a few good, tough calls...

And one more thing...Luciana Paluzzi might be the hottest B movie woman ever this side of Raquel Welch
