Although I have to warn you, as great as the film is, the 2D transfer on here isn't very good since they didn't calibrate the film for 2D viewing. Instead they just lazily made the 2D version one of the halves of the 3D version. As great as the movie is, if you are a standard TV viewer like myself, I'd suggest just getting the standard DVD instead of the Blu-Ray.

I can't return it since its been opened. I might actually try and sell it and then get the DVD version. I really should have read some reviews for this disc beforehand since I was always suspicious about this "single disc" thing. Its still watchable, but I still feel cheated because it just seems so lazy of Lionsgate to do this.

This 2D/3D on one disc thing is bullsh*t and this is exactly why. I'm never getting another release that's put out that way.

Weird I didn't have any issues with 2D when viewing my Underworld Awakening 3D BD before getting my 3DTV.

Its not THAT bad, like I said, its still perfectly watchable, but there are times where things just look off because they really didn't calibrate it right.

Believe it or not, I got almost $100 Amazon credit by trading in some old SNES games. My latest scores:

and finally

Image Call me paranoid, but with Amazon bringing this under review I wanted to get it before it potentially becomes very hard to find
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

^ Super 8 was on Netflix a while back. Better than I was expecting. Anyway, got caught up with recent comedy favorites:

^It was the only Carpenter movie on blu-ray that I don't have that I really wanted (I don't have Assault on Precinct 13 or The Fog yet, and while I personally love both films, I think I'll wait on those for the time being...I'm thinking The Fog around Halloween this year)

Image
^had never seen it in a store before, and the price-tag was mostly OK.

Image
^Boom.

Passed on: Daimajin (I've never seen the movies, it's hard for me to wanna plunk down money on something I've never EVER seen), Goon ($30? Yeah, it'll be $9.99 eventually), Stake Land (again, $30? come on. kinda ridiculous when i can buy a 4-disc set with like 5 versions of a film and a zillion special features for the same price as this release), Dredd ($30 for a sub-par transfer? Color me waiting until maybe hopefully they do something about it).

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.
