So I started a chat session with Amazon to see when I can expect my bluray. They said approximately the end of January, so I cancelled my order.

Checked my local Best Buys online, but none of them have it either...closest one is in the next state over. And Best Buy only has this available for in-store pickup where available, no shipping.

So like... WTF?! :x

Anybody have any luck finding this anywhere OTHER than Best Buy?!

Ugh, Amazon finally shipped the blu-ray that I preordered October 5th. It's either arriving Monday or Tuesday.

As for soundtracks, I am not the biggest fan for the one in this film. However, it's not entirely bad and the title for worst soundtrack goes to Final Wars (though, Mothra vs. Gigan is decent).

Am I the only one that prefers the Megalon soundtrack over the Hedorah one? I feel Godzilla's drunken theme was improved in Megalon.

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

So glad people are finally coming around on Biollante, and all it took was people actually watching the film!

Now if you guys would just watch Megagurius again.

I've always liked Biollante and always had it available to me since 1991. I was never under the impression it was a highly disliked film. Megaguirus on the other hand.... I have for completeness sake. Too bad such a cool looking monster is in such a boring film. I swear I dont think I have ever watched this film in its entirety without falling asleep. Perhaps the only way to successfully do this would be in a crowded room full of fans at a convention or something, mid-day after drinking several cups of coffee.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.
