So mine came in this weekend from barnes after numerous delays. Just started watching Sea Monster. Notice the dub is different from the one I grew up with (I'm guessing it was AIP). They really picked an annoying voice for the buzz cut dancer but otherwise its alot more tolerable than the hesei dubs. I typically prefer subs but this is fine enough for the background while I'm studying since I'm not fluent enough to follow the japanese without looking. There's only one english track on this one correct, not like what media blasters managed for DAM?
The images on this are amazing, and i'm seeing so many details on this I never saw. Scenes like them in the cave with the waterfall in the background, them jumping off the cliff, the sun through the clouds and even the gun in detail through the cage looks like this thing was filmed yesterday. Even the details on mothra I think I spotted two different suis in this thing.
Wow so many blu-ray discs in so little time. GvBio from Echo Bridge, The Sony Hesei and Mire discs minus GMK and G2K, the animated series, Gamera showa collection. Now with these, Gorgo, Gamera Hesei collection, Godzilla 54, KKvG Gamera the Brave and Destroy all Monsters and these 3 that brings my collection to 15 Godzilla or over half the series on Blu, and another 2 pending when LegendGoji and Megalon are released on blu, and currently 28 monster movies on blu ray. Not really interested in getting the GINO blu ray though I hear its one of the first you can future proof for 4k. Fingers crossed that the rights on 85 revert next year so we can get a Criterion Co
