IT'S ALIVE!!! ALIVE!!!

Yes, I'm resurrecting this topic like a sequel. :D

I'm sure some of you have seen my responses to each movie but I got this off Amazon a few weeks back for half price and it is by far worth every penny. The restoration on the movies is down right incredible. This is also the first time Creature from the Black Lagoon has been released in its original widescreen presentation, which made it feel like I was watching a brand new movie.

I know some of you have said you would rather have Legacy collections like we got on DVD, but to be honest, most of the sequels are pretty subpar to those found here. In fact, I'm slowly rewatching the sequels from my DVDs and to be quite honest, they really aren't that good. The two Creature sequels are meh and terrible, while the Dracula sequels suck, and The Mummy's Hand is really the only decent Mummy sequel (but from what I have been told, Hammer did it better) .

The bonus features contain everything the Legacy Collections had and more, as there are features on Lugosi and Karloff that seem to be brand new, along with some pretty cool 100 years of Universal stuff (despite them repeating them on a few of the movies). I definitely recommend this set, especially because even the booklet is down right awesome.
