Well hell, in my experience anyway, most of the people I watch movies with do not hesitate to skip through the opening credits. It doesn't really bother me either way, to tell you the truth. Personally, I'm with the rest of you guys. The title sequences help me get in the mood for the film I am about to watch.

Yeah, for small companies like Classic Media and Media Blasters, the sales of kaiju DVDs make them a considerable amount of profit. But for Sony, the same number of sales is just a drop in the bucket compared to their blockbusters. If Classic Media had the choice between selling The Godzilla Collection or Spider-Man 3 on DVD last November, their attention would have been turned away from the Big G in a heartbeat.

Anyone know the exact, or near amount of sales CM has gotten for their Godzilla releases the last few years?
