Variety is great, but the problem with Gamera The Brave is that it's so unentertainingly bad that it hurts. A shame, because Zedus is a pretty cool new kaiju; certainly moreso than any new critters Toho conjured up this millennium.

Gamera the Brave also decimated our chances to see a Daimajin remake that was supposedly in the works because the studio feared losing money on that film as well and figured it wasn't worth the risk since GtB bombed at the Box Office.
