The Latitude Zero release is looking great. Too bad they didn't get Linda Haynes to do a commentary after all. Also, it looks like neither that nor Legend of the Dinosaurs will be having any subtitled Japanese commentaries. Did the R2s not have them to begin with?

Really looking forward to seeing these films though. Seems like there's always something good in this genre coming out in December.

Yep, too bad about Latitude Zero being Linda-Haynes-less. I wonder why it fell through - ?

Still looks like a great set. I'm gonna be all over this like white on rice! I've never seen this flick, and am achin' to. The other Rankin/Bass-Toho team up, King Kong Escapes, is one of my very favorite kaiju flicks, so I have high hopes for LZ.

Though we can certainly live without commentaries, I still think this is too bad that there won’t be one from Linda Haynes. It would have offered a very rare opportunity to hear someone from the Hollywood side who actually participated in a kaiju and listen to his or her experiences. (And not to mention that many who had participated in a kaiju - Nick Adams, Richard Jaeckel, Joseph Cotton, Cesar Romero and even Raymond Burr are no longer with us. And I don’t think Classic Media will get Russ Tamblyn to do a commentary for their WOTG release).

Still, I am glad this one is coming out on DVD. I really never thought that would happen, at least for a long, long time!
