Apparently Overstock.com or what ever they changed their name to has the Blu-ray in stock.

and it's 20.89 not including shipping.

Just got this in e-mail from Amazon this morning...

Various, Ishiro Honda "Destroy All Monsters [Blu-ray]"
Estimated arrival date: November 30 2011 - December 12 2011

I got 3 e-mails yesterday estimating that it would arrive on 10/27. I guess not.

:(

Mine still says November 10th. I shouldn't have taken two weeks of vacation starting October 25th to watch Destroy All Monsters in a constant loop until it actually arrived.

WTF? How is Amazon sold out when I preordered this the moment it went on there? My order now says I have to wait until Dec for it to ship. That is unacceptable.

Boycotting is something you do to a big company/corporation/entity to show them you are sick of them thinking they are bigger and better than you. Boycotting something like the Star Wars blu-rays MAKES SENSE.

Boycotting MB doesn't make sense and sends the wrong message.

If you want to send a company like that a message, writing/petitioning them makes a LOT more sense.

But then, you'd have to actually do something, while boycotting requires zero effort.

That rule applies to just about anything...smaller companies are much more likely to see a mailbox full of letters or a petition with a few thousand signatures and go "woah, we need to fix this" while a boycott will make them think "we need to stop spending any money on this, because it's not worth it"

Guys the BD should be in our hands by the end of next week at the latest MB did post a picture of the cover on their FB wall today I guess I saw it at Blu-ray.com when I decided to check in there before work.

As I said most retailers haven't gotten their initial shipment in yet because the distributor didn't ship the BDs out till Monday so you have to factor two-five days for it to arrive at retailers then another day for them to get our orders around since this is an online release.

The reason why retailers are giving a date that's two-six weeks from now is they don't want to screw themselves over by saying we'll have it next week when they might not actually have it at that date. So they give you a date way off in the future to cover themselves.

So we all need to just relax and most if not everyone should have Destroy all Monsters on BD by Friday next week.
