I'm in the middle of the Japanese version of "H-Man" right now and I've got to say the video presentation is honestly rather underwhelming. There's a distracting flicker in darker parts of the picture, most prominently the suits worn by the detectives, and darker scenes are dominated by it. Maybe it's just my TV or something, but the screencaps in the Sci-Fi Japan article look a lot better than the movie itself when playing. Still, it's nice to have an official release of fairly decent quality here in the States, especially when both versions are offered.
And I might as well give my two cents on Steve and Ed's dropping the ball on the "Mothra" commentary. While I very much respect both of them and generally enjoy the information they provide, sometimes they honestly reach far beyond what's actually presented (and in this case in the opposite direction) to find some sort of social implication or metaphor that simply is not there. :-\ I do find both commentaries to be generally informative and enjoyable, but that was a bit disappointing.
