Keith did mention that to them william so I wouldn't be suprised if they did, you should also contact them about it.

I too have been holding out for the box set just because it'll be cheaper I assume, but damn am I getting antsy to own the movies I really want to see the Japanese version of Mothra vs G even though our American cut is supossed to be better the others I rented off Netflix to tide me over till I get the boxset.

As has been said many, many times in the past, the box set is planned to come after the last two single DVDs. The last two discs aren't out yet so there's no news on the set. Nothing has changed.

^ If that's the real deal, I hope they didn't just pack the 2-disc Godzilla release in there.

One way or the other though, I hope this is true. Six movies and extras for that price is a great deal.

Yeah - that's what I was thinking too - that CM's Gojira release would not be a part of the boxed set.

It'd be nice if the rumor about Rodan being included in the DVD set ends up being accurate. I think the rumor makes sense too - it'd be a way for CM to ensure that the DVD would sell instead of relying solely on stand alone DVD sales. Without Godzilla on the box [via name or picture] "casual"/average buyers would be more likely to pass the DVD up.

I don't know, if any Toho film without Godzilla in its name has a chance to be a real success while sold individually, Rodan would almost certainly have to be it. It certainly wouldn't be as much star power as Godzilla, but it would have to be better known than the Media Blasters titles, right?

In any case, Rodan being part of the boxset would rock. Gojira, on the other hand... I wouldn't fault CM for including it, but I'd prefer if they didn't.

Why would their Gojira/Godzilla: KotM discs not be in the box-set?
