Sony Godzilla Blu Rays CONFIRMED!!

This legitimately frustrates me to no end...and here I sold my Heisei G flix from Madman cuz I thought Sony was actually going to pull through for the fans this time. Guess I learned my lesson the hard way this go around. It just boggles the mind how they choose to omit credits for certain films but restore them for others. That's utterly depressing and annoying at the same time. If the subs are accurate for the films and have the Japanese dialogue then I guess I can live with it but it still irks me that KG and vsMothra had their credits stripped away AGAIN. I can live with the overlays but I'm not happy about them either but some of this other crap is just inexcusable. Way to go Sony.

The flaws do sound really annoying, but I also intend to upgrade my collection no matter what. Guess I'll suck it up, barring any alternatives.

I see people complaining that there are no end credits on certain movies. Can someone explain to me what the original end credits were?

I had a bad feeling about this ever since Keith's follow up with Sony and those vague answers they gave. This largely changes my mind about these releases. I may pick up one or two down the line, but with this news I'm in no rush. Although if the contest turns in my favor I won't turn them down by any stretch.

I got to know how do tokyo SOS and final wars look because the beginning of SOS always looked so freaking grainy for some reason. Also final wars doesn't have all the problems the sony DVDs had with scenes having the lighting looking really bright or something.

So, if I'm reading this correctly, the only movies WITHOUT full end credits are GvsKG '91 and GvsM '92? That's disappointing but not a deal breaker for me. The most important credits by far are for GvsDestroyer. And then the tezuka films with their little post credits scenes. I'd have strongly preferred all the films be complete with full credits, but being the OAR in HD with English & Japanese audio and English subtitles still makes them guaranteed buys from me.
