Gorath is one of my very least favorite Ishiro Honda movies. I know it was one of his own favorites and a lot of people like it but I can't get into it. The subplot with the guy losing his memory goes nowhere (not to mention that guy is an irredeemable prick) and most of the movie is just people standing in front of chalk boards talking about math and how they are going to move the planet and stuff. Half of that movie is pretty much watching people plan the thing which is just boring.
