While I think Alien 3 is terrible no matter what, I do find the extended edition to be the superior version. The character development is so much better and the story is better paced. There is a reason they had to put 30 minutes back into the movie.

I dislike Alien 3...for those of you that don't visit the "recently watched movies" thread:

i find it to be REALLY boring.

mostly because Aliens borrows so heavily from Alien (ESPECIALLY in its climax) that yet ANOTHER movie that just does the same thing that TWO movies have ALREADY done just becomes tedious...
