I just...I dunno...I don't understand people who claim to be Godzilla fans but state they prefer GINO's interpretation of the character.

Cause that ain't Godzilla.

And even the Japanese Godzilla doesn't always win at the end. Gojira, Godzilla Raids Again, King Kong vs Godzilla, Mothra vs Godzilla, Godzilla 1985, Godzilla vs Mothra, GMK and Tokyo SOS are all films in which Godzilla does not win.

But the Japanese Godzilla was never taken down as easily as GINO was. Again as horrible as this might sound if you're going to go on record as stating that you outright prefer the '98 Godzilla to the Japanese version you just can't be that much of a Godzilla fan to begin with. IMHO GINO is a titanic steaming turd that shats all over Toho's Godzilla and isn't representative of anything that makes the Japanese original so special.

Best Buy's site has changed the price to reflect the release sale price, of $13.99. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Godzilla+-+ ... &lp=1&cp=1

Also you should be able to check on that page if your local store already has their copies in, all of mine do.

Correct me if I am wrong, but did bestbuy.com not have the Blu-Ray on sale for $12.99 two weeks ago? It is on sale this week for $16.99. -_-

That's the way Best Buy works man...Gojira was 12 dollars for the first week too and now it's 16 too I think..
