I'm going to go with Blu-Ray winning because just more studio support for it. I have six Blu-Ray disc and only two HD-DVDs already.

I do plan on picking up 300 on HD-DVD because it's supposed to be better on HD-DVD than Blu-Ray.

I have a question regarding HD. Does anyone know if the black level standard has been changed with the advent of HD? I know the U.S. standard was(hope this terminology is correct)0.3 IRE's which wasn't a true solid black, more of a very dark grey. 0 IRE's would be a true black level and was available here in the U.S. on DVD players with the enhanced black level feature. The reason I ask is that I'm thinking about getting a Blue Ray/HD DVD player and one thing I think is most important is having true, solid blacks for picture clarity and need to know if I still need to look for this feature on any future players or if this feature is even needed. Any help is appreciated.
