the sound was remixed- hence "infra-stereo" on the poster. the running time for the us version is about 89 minutes, while the HK R3 DVD runs 86 minutes. right off hand i can't tell you what's changed, though the transformation is different.
i wouldn't call it a goofy dub though, but you all know that, of course. i mean, what's so goofy about it?

yeah, i thought that, but the HK DVD version of both FIVE MASTERS OF DEATH and HEROES TWO are exactly the same length as the US videos. weird!

Some films I can watch the dubs with NO trouble.

Some I can't...I have had this discussion with Megaloman before. The oldschool dubs, while cornier than all get out sometimes, at least had people acting in them. These new dubs sound like drama students reading off a page for scale wages...

While I would prefer the original language subtitled, a good dub is perfectly fine.

Remember this is coming from a guy who bough that awful Ultraman vs the Monkey King DVD from Thailand...
