It looks like the English version for all films are mixed in DTS. But only Godzilla vs Mecha-Godzilla has the Japanese language in DTS, 5.1.

Cool. I'm quite pleased with the inclusion of the original trailers and the Japanese audio for the Heisei films. Any word on restored credits, subs, and overlays yet?

I think it's interesting that the back covers list the different subtitle options as English, English SDH (subtitled for the deaf and hard of hearing), and French. Could Sony be doing what Echo Bridge did with Biollante and including two sets of English subtitles, one a translation of the Japanese dialogue and the other a transcription of the English dub?

Except Godzilla vs Destoroyah does not say 5.1 while Space Godzilla does.

WOw, those back covers are actually quite good. Maybe I will keep the movies in their cases afterall.

Well, then that would make 84 look out of place on my shelf...

Of course, even if someone in the US were to release it, it isn't like the cover would be out of place anyway.

When I first saw this thread title today, my brain registered "Sony Godzilla Blurays Confirmed" as "Son of Godzilla Blurays Confirmed"... Now I'm disappointed...stupid brain

That's really what should be done, it seems so simple. Just do it as regular subtitles.

My SpaceGodzilla and Destoroyah screencaps are letterboxed because that's how I had to record them on DVD from cable. The Blu-Rays will be anamorphic, so there would be no room for titles in the black box area. (Because there won't be such an area.)

That's true, but they still don't have to cover up the entire screen, they could be smaller and at the bottom.

The press release mentioned that Tokyo SOS and Final Wars would include the behind-the-scenes features from their DVD releases but the back cover only lists the original trailers as extras. Weird.
