Using Media Blasters as an example of the licensers themselves being difficult to work with is beyond flawed.

They legitimately released unapproved material that they didn't have the RIGHTS to release on their DAM disc. Unlike the Sony discs, which have been selling at inflated prices only because they are OOP and will plummet once the new releases are out, that DAM disc will ALWAYS sell at inflated prices because it's basically illegal...and then there's the whole Megalon fiasco.

Media Blasters is a sh*t company.

^ This. Really just based on all the cheap garbage and "oops you caught us... BUT that wasnt on purpose..." stuff that Media Blasters has pulled, i wouldn't be surprised if the AIP dub is part of the contention with the DAM discs..if anything they are making it harder for other companies to include additional material since as Jelly mentioned some of the material MB included was illegal or licensed to other licensees.
