And just to cause my nerd erection to become so massive and raging as to rip through the very fabric of space and time:

This Halloween, I'll be picking up these two, and The Fog, and my John Carpenter collection will be nearly complete (I'd only want Vampires).

I love this cover art that Shout! has been producing as of late, too. I'd love to find full-size poster prints of it.

Oddly enough, my complete Carpenter collection does not include Halloween...maybe I should include it just so I feel a little more whole inside lol. Not a huge fan of that film though..

ok... so apparently just 2 years after its initial release, Fox is releasing the Star Wars Saga AGAIN on Blu Ray (this time as 2 sets of BRD/DVD combos)

http://www.amazon.com/Star-Trilogy-Epis ... _sim_mov_1

http://www.amazon.com/Star-Trilogy-Epis ... =star+wars

Of course I passed on them the first time because of the many technical problems I heard was associated with them, plus of course the absence of original theatrical versions. Does anyone know why FOX would release this again? As far as I'm aware the others are still available in stores. What, if anything, will this release offer that the other did not that would make me want to purchase it? if anyone has any information this would be appreciated.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

Silently, like a thief in the night, MGM released a new Blu-Ray of the original Robocop. The old release had a notoriously bad transfer, and the new one apparently looks excellent. Release date later this month, but Best Buy got it a few weeks early.

Yes, the new "Robocop" Blu looks great; better yet, it didn't get hit with the teal n' orange stick like the "Terminator" remaster did!
