I swear, what is it with the "other" board and petitions?

They have a petition fetish, and it's getting pretty sad.
While I do agree that the current reviews/feedback of disc are indeed legit gripes (it seems like WB has really dropped the ball with this release in all facets), it seems like the ol' fall back response of "let's start a petition!" accomplishes nothing except for embarassing the fandom by making G fans look like entitled, whiney d-bags (There's even a petition being started by some over there for Bandai/Namco to make a Godzilla "fighter"...are you kidding me???!

We're lucky they're even making *1* Godzilla game). If some fans would just have to balls to follow up their words and
*gasp!* not buy something simply just because the name "Godzilla" is slapped on it, they could send a far stronger message to various companies than another stupid, useless petition.
But then again, the downside of that action could result in lower sales, creating less incentive for American companies to do anything with the Godzilla license, so it's damned if you do, damned if you don't. Oh well, that's life, and as the the ol' Rolling Stones song goes, "You can't always get what you want~~~~~~~!" That's just an unfortunate part of life that sadly today's "instant gratification" generation can't grasp. Can you imagine if today's fandom were around in the 90s, when you had to shell out some coin and hunt endlessly just to glimpse the Heisei films on sh*tty VHS tapes?
