I didn't know about the Hesiei series until 94ish. I was trying to track down DAM and my cousin saw a bootleg add in a magazine so he gave the information to my parents and we ordered DAM.

I got a catalog in after that and he had listings for Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, Godzilla vs Queen Mothra, Godzilla vs Super MechaGodzilla and Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla. So my parents ordered those for me then by that time I found out about G-fan and got Destoroyah in from a bootlegger ad.

^^ i thought that was only for price drops that occurred after you put in your preorder, so if it didnt drop below $13 again, then $13 is what he would be charged.

Not common, or easy to find, but all over the place...???

Also, I can't necessarily speak for Kain, but I think we're about the same age and I didn't go to trade shows or things when I was a kid. The only Godzilla movies I knew existed were the ones that aired on TV and what was available for purchase in stores. I wasn't really aware of the 90s films at all until The Official Godzilla Compendium.

Yeah, I just think it's a bit wrong to think that just because you went to tradeshows and had some bootlegs means they were all over the place and everyone had them.

The closest thing to a bootleg I had was a taping of Biollante off of Starz from a friend of my parents because we didn't have Starz (or was it HBO? Doesn't matter)

That's not at all the way you come across in your initial comments to Dr. Kain.

He said: The films didn't come out in the US until 98
Then you said: Uh, there's a little something called BOOTLEGS.
As if they were ubiquitous.

He never said anything about the U.S. in his initial rant about not finding any bootlegs. He implied that nobody knew about these films before '98 (which is absurd) hence my reply about bootlegs.

Now, you really wanna drag this out any longer, or are you done?
