^ Yeah I just corrected myself. Too many companies being discussed...confusion :goofy:
Just to clearify...
Media Blasters- Has released many Toho non-Godzilla kaiju/Sci-Fi films for the last decade. They usually offer a quality product. However for various reasons, have dropped the ball recently. Constant delays/cancellations with anime titles for the past 3-4 years. Huge downsizing, tax problems, and content problems with Toho in 2011 due to issues with the Destroy All Monsters DVD/BRD and an almost one year delay in release of Godzilla vs Megalon (presumably being released on 8/14/12??)
Mill Creek -Acquired many titles from the now defunct BCI eclipse and re-released them as Budget releases such as- Ultraman, Super Robot Red Baron & Iron King. Also released BRD of the Heisei era Gamera Trilogy after acquiring rights from the now defunt ADV Films. They also acquired the rights to the Daimajin Trilogy from ADV. A BRD release has been mentioned, but no further information has been provided as of today
Echo Bridge-Another Budget DVD distributor, acquiring the library of titles from Miramax films, including Godzilla vs. Biollante. An employee of EB is posting information in the Toho Kingdom forums with detailed information about the preparation of this release. Everything appears to be going well so far.
--Quick Question-- All negativity aside, has Echo Bridge ever released anything previosly that is remotely in the kaiju genre? I own over 1000 DVD titles, and I dont think I have a single one of theirs. Or any main stream movies to review would be appreciated. Thank you.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.
