I still do not understand how they coul df up that easily in the movie. How can you not tell that was Gorosaurus and not Baragon? I understand it was supposed to be Baragon, but the fact they did not even catch that mistake when reviewing the movie in production is just laziness.

Well given they shoot the human stuff separately, and the break-neck pace of Godzilla production, especially back then, it probably didn't matter much or they didn't notice it. When I was little I just justified it as the guy implying that in addition to the Gorosaurus we saw, Baragon was also in Paris.
