I know the Digital release had several complaints on FB about being too dark. I tried watching it and honestly the last battle was so dark it wasn't worth my time. The bridge scenes and everything else were just fine though.

There were also people who had no issues with it being dark. Maybe it's a combination of a dark shot plus bad settings on our screens? Who knows, but all I can tell you is I could barely make anything out at the end.

I think I might skip the initial release if it does indeed have the darker picture. I'm sure WB will either release a corrected version or a directors cut down the road. If need be I'll just rent the movie to get my fix.

It sucks that basically the only time I'll ever watch this movie is going to be in my home theater, instead of just randomly during the day on my TV...I mean, dammit...

While I do want to support the film, the glaring lack of deleted scenes and what seems like a darker presentation than the theatrical print has me seriously considering waiting to see if the movie turns up as part of WB's Black Friday offerings.

I want the movie on home video of course, but I don't really want to sink $20+ into a release that we may likely see an corrected release later on of. I had even considered picking up the 3D release, but with all the darker/nighttime scenes coupled with the darker presentation will probably make for an unpleasing viewing experience.

^ I'm thinking likewise. It could be just a huge YMMV situation depending on one's setup, but if the majority of people have issues with it, I'll be cancelling my preorder.
