So another person and I brought up Megalon on MediaBlasters Facebook page (I blocked out the other person so as not to share their personal information on this forum):

So it looks like a Megalon Blu-ray is slated for a barebones release on July 22nd. Its interesting to see that Toho isn't allowing them to use non-Toho sourced extras at all. I asked them if this was Toho's policy towards all American releases (which might explain Kraken's issue with their upcoming releases), but they didn't respond. For what its worth, MB also did not respond to the other persons question about Godzilla 1985, but that's not surprising considering Godzilla 1985's situation.
Also, just to keep the news consolidated here, I'll repost the news on Destroy All Monsters, which was brought up in the Sony Blu Rays Rumor thread. Someone on Facebook found a DAM listing on You might notice that the studio name in the listing is Softland International, who Keith confirmed is the parent company of MediaBlasters distributor. Keith also confirmed that the DAM reissue will be barebones. So assuming the Walmart listing is accurate, we'll be getting a DAM reissue on May 1st.
