Is it possible that Mill Creek got the rights to GAMERA THE BRAVE? I mean, Media Blasters DVD of GTB is OOP now. So is it possible, Mill Creek will release Irys along with GTB as another double feature?
Either way, I'm waiting for reviews. Right now, I'm perfectly happy with putting the ADV DVDs in a two disc blu ray case along with the blu rays from Japan. But if the Mill Creek release is actually good, I'll support them.
Oh, and I'm quite confused as to why there was never a GTB blu ray in Japan. The sound in that movie is the best of most Kaiju films... and on blu ray.. my god it would be awesome. That opening scene is just epic!

Gamera on Blu Ray?

That's an interesting idea Cookson about MillCreek doing another double feature Blu-Ray with the 3rd Heisei movie and the recent Gamera The Brave.
Since we know MillCreek picked up the whole trilogy, the thought occured to me that the follow-up Blu-Ray would include the 3rd movie and a bunch of extras covering the entire trilogy.
Although the idea is heavily dependant on MillCreek getting available extras in the first place, which is iffy since they like to focus on lower pricing. And even if they picked up the extras on the Japanese blu-ray release trilogy (admittedly a longshot) then MillCreek will need to create subtitles for them (I assume that like Toho's releases the Gamera set didn't include any English subtitles).

Unfortunately, Chaiyo is not as "out of the way" as we might have thought. Apparently the case has flared up again in the Japanese courts.
