I've still have the VHS tape of GODZILLA VS. THE THING in widescreen, so, yeah, problem solved. But perhaps maybe, JUST MAYBE there is hope. Shut up, we're two months away and there still might some ''changes''. Otherwise, I'm looking foward to seeing these movies either way. Miracles can happen, miracles can happen. Just a bit of magic and praying will do me good. Seriously speaking, again, we're two months away. Let's wait and see the final results.

Waitaminute? Who said that CM will only be using the slightly cropped versions made for HD TVs? I'm pretty sure that CM said they used the slightly cropped version of MvG because the other was missing some scenes. You guys are jumping the gun big time!
...which reminds me, didn't the Simitar versions have a screen that came up before the movie that said some scenes would be in poorer condition than others because they had to use multiple sources?
Of course, if we we're willing to wait untill next summer they could just edit in the scenes missing from the full widescreen version with shots from their Japanese print... but personally, I'd rather get it this Nov.
You still have the USA version, which is a wonderfull dub, and if you want to see the whole picture, you can just click over to the Japanese version. The only thing missing is the fronteir missle scene, which is just a big smokescreen over Godzilla so you're really not missing much with a little bit cut off the sides.
So, just to reiterate; I cannot wait for these fantastic releases! I can't wait to get 'em!!!!
