Watched GRA from netflix and I must say that the Japanese version is very boring. I prefer the American version I guess.
Also CM needs to do something about future subtiles they looked like crap, being grainy and the ls sticking to close to other letters "close" would look like "cbse" to me.
Can't wait to see Mothra vs Godzilla but damn Netflix didn't get it in. So I guess I can be patient and wait for the boxset to come out later this year.

Canadian release? Why not just order them from the Net? Just find a website that sales the DVDs at a reasonable price and see if they ship to Canada.

Overall, the disc looks amazing on the Japanese version, while the US version is less than stellar. It looks as though little was done in restoring the US version, and it's merely a new transfer (which, don't get me wrong, does A LOT on its own already, but it would have been nice to restore it to the Japanese print's condition, or perhaps even splice the Japanese footage in.
Someone post R2 pics now, I want to see how it stacks up. There is a bit of artifacting in both versions (moreso on the English version), though it is quite amazing that they fit both versions on the same disc in this condition.
