Well I did some searching on Newegg and it appears that the model you suggested is OOP I did find this though

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6827152047

Perhaps your firmware suggestion would work with this? Or could you link me to the one you've suggested?

I've just tried watching Destroy All Monsters on my computer using DVDSubber with the subtitles and had a real problem. The picture sputters and pixilates very badly. The sound runs okay, though it sputters as well, and is invariably a ways ahead of the picture. I can see the subtitles coming up but with the picture and sound the way it is, they're not much use to me.

Is DVDSubber problematic like this, or am I doing something wrong? My disc is fine, and plays without any problem on my hacked Philips DVD player and using "InterVideo WinDVD" along with "DVD Region+CSS Free" on my computer.

Thanks James, I'll give that a try.

Has anybody gotten the subs on Ghidrah to work (for making a DVD-R backup)?
