Varan the Unbelievable

Is this movie on DVD any where? I like to get the original uncut version of Varan which is seventeen minutes longer then the american version.

Believe me, if this film is ever released on DVD in the U.S., I will be the first to pick it up. I haven't seen this movie, and I egearly want to! Anyway, I don't think the film is "public domain," so I know Alpha Video won't be sending it out anytime soon. A DVD release in the near future is, as of this time, only a dream.

I really like this film. Call me eclectic, but the Varan suit design is one of my favorites from the Showa series. But let me clarify....while the man-worn-suit is great, the flying puppet makes me cringe!
I can't wait for Varan to be released on DVD - along with Atragon and King Kong Escapes, too.
