Wow Kain, I'm suprised. 'X' is defiantly one of the more well known kaiju flicks out there....I will say this though, try to check out the original first before seeing this one, which will be hard since it has no DVD release (thanks Janus).

This is a sequel to 'The X From Outer Space' but it almost is more of a comical political satire.

I am guessing you are not familiar with Kawasaki's films so your probably not prepared for the mindless retardation you are about to watch. ENJOY!

According to an update on , the DVD only has Japanese audio (2.0 only, apparently the Japanese release also had a 4.0 track), and the only extras are a photo gallery and Tokyo Shock trailers. With a lack of a dub and any significant extras, sounds like they didn't think too much of this film.

Extras we've apparently missed out on include making-of footage, press conference footage, and an audio commentary by director Minoru Kawasaki, scripter Masakazu Migita, and composer Hirohiko Fukuda. (The latter info from CdJapan.)
